Colorado Springs Cardiology is proud to share an exciting milestone in the growth of our cardiovascular program: the first procedure has been successfully completed at our new Ambulatory Surgery Center, Colorado Springs Cardiology Heart & Vascular Center.
The inaugural case was a diagnostic heart catheterization performed by Dr. Suresh Sharma, marking the official beginning of patient care in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility. The procedure went smoothly and reflects the teamwork, preparation, and dedication of our entire clinical and operational staff.
Located at the base of the beautiful Pikes Peak, the Colorado Springs Cardiology Heart & Vascular Center was designed to provide advanced cardiovascular care in a comfortable and efficient outpatient setting. Our ASC allows many cardiac and vascular procedures to be performed without the need for a hospital stay, improving convenience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
“Designed for convenience and comfort, our outpatient surgical center delivers high-quality care, shorter wait times, and a smoother surgical experience. As a practice, we are excited to begin this new chapter and look forward to continuing to provide exceptional care for our patients.” Suresh Sharma, MD.
The success of this first case represents the collaboration of many individuals and partners who helped bring this vision to life. We extend our appreciation to the physicians, nurses, technologists, administrative teams, and industry partners who supported this important milestone.
As the Colorado Springs Cardiology Heart & Vascular Center continues to expand services, our goal remains the same: to provide exceptional cardiovascular care that is accessible, innovative, and patient-centered for the communities we serve.
“This new ambulatory surgery center will allow our team at Colorado Springs Cardiology Heart and Vascular Center to provide a more focused and personalized care experience for our patients. High quality, patient centered care delivered at a significantly lower cost to patients and insurers all while being able to be more focused on the individual needs of those we are caring for.” Mark Baker, Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator.
We look forward to helping even more patients receive the advanced heart and vascular care they need, close to home.
